چکیده

Abstract Background Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic multi-domains autoimmune inflammatory disorder. Patients with PsA have significant prevalence of cardiovascular affection. Upregulated Interleukin-34 (IL-34) has been seen in many disorders, and also atherosclerotic plaques. The aim this observational case–control study was to evaluate the serum levels il-34 patients correlate between its level disease activity, subclinical Results In study, there were 70 healthy volunteers, 43 on Methotrexate, 6 sulfasalazine, while 40 biological therapy either monotherapy or combination DMARDs. There differences controls ESR, high sensitivity-CRP, total lipid profile, IL-34 ( p < 0.05) no regarding Echo ECG results. Also, we found that elevation DAPSA score, hs-CRP, IL-34, cIMT active when compared them inactive patients. had positive correlations r = 0.654, 0.579, 0.658 respectively). Conclusion Serum interleukin-34 an important marker as elevated correlated activity

Serum pentraxin 3 and interleukin-6 are associated with subclinical atherosclerosis in recent-onset rheumatoid arthritis.

Subclinical atherosclerosis is increased in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), as chronic systemic inflammation leads to accelerate atherosclerosis and increase arterial stiffness in theses patients. This study aimed to evaluate the association of serum interleukin-6 (sIL-6) and serum pentraxin 3(sPTX3) with subclinical atherosclerotic in patients with recent-onset rheumatoid arthritis. S...
